Our History
Over its centennial, The Palm Mansion has hosted countless celebrations, weaving its way into the fabric of local history. With its rich heritage, timeless charm, and impeccable southern hospitality, this historic mansion stands as a testament to the elegance and grandeur of old Florida.
Built in 1904 by florida citrus grower Robert Lee Collins, The Palm Mansion has remained in the loving care of his family for five generations, from the orange crate crown molding, to the original heart of pine floors, the Collins legacy is preserved in every inch of this home.
As you step onto the grounds, you are greeted by 115 year old sabal palm trees that line the walk to the front door and you're transported back in time to an era of opulence and refinement. The architectural splendor of the mansion reflects the grand traditions of the past, with its distinctive blend of colonial revival and southern antebellum style. The stately columns, ornate victorian detailing and sweeping double decker verandas exude a sense of timeless beauty and grace.
